Volunteer Opportunities

The Holiday Engine routes rely on community groups—scouts, sports teams, youth organisations, and other local volunteers—to help make each evening a success.

Volunteers are asked to visit an assigned route or neighbourhood early the week of the scheduled Engine night. During this visit you will distribute door‑hangers to residents, letting them know when the Holiday Engine will be in their area.

On the night of the route, your group will meet the Holiday Engine, Santa Claus, and the Food Bank truck. Together you will walk the route, greet neighbours, and collect food and donations to transfer to the Food Bank truck.
